Apple, the largest US technology company, is thought to be
working on an update to the iPhone SE, that the originally model was released
in March 2016.
SE, standing for "Special Edition", means a smaller
and cheaper option in Apple's smartphone range, and it is thought that the
updated version will continue in a design similar to a 4 inch screen, with
price about £ 350. The launch comes after Apple has released their most
expensive iPhone, iPhone X.
The new iPhone SE marks the tenth anniversary of the company's innovative devices with many new features.
The front of the
iPhone X has been redesigned, removing the home button to expand the screen
across the entire surface of the device.
Replacing the
fingerprint scanner on the home button is a new security system, Face ID. The
front camera includes a 3D face scanner so that users can unlock the phone with
their face.
The camera is also
Infra Red, so Face ID can work in the dark.
